ASAP Kerala marks it’s first Skilling Infrastructure project with IREL Ltd worth 1 Crore. The project will be undertaken by ASAP as part of IREL’s CSR Initiatives for the FY 2025-26.
The residents of Chavara, Kollam had a fond interest in football since early days. Tournaments were often hosted in school/ public levels and clubs were formed in the locality which would compete in the tournaments in and around the Chavara region. With such a football culture being prevalent in the society among both genders, The Chavara residents had a longing desire for a world class football facility where they can not just play but also develop skills in the football sport.
Recognizing this need, IREL partnered with ASAP Kerala in building a Football turf facility in the Chavara region. The facility will be a training center for the residents in developing skills in sports. With an Intention to promote sports in the state and also in skill development, IREL achieves it’s CSR goals for the FY 2025-26 with an ambition for the wellbeing of the residents in Chavara, Kollam.
The MoU was signed between ASAP Kerala and IREL Chavara ltd on 21st of October 2025 under the representation from IREL, Chavara Grama Panchayath & ASAP Kerala.
