In a recent mission to outreach the Scheduled  Tribal communities and empower them for development, ASAP Kerala in association with Kudumbasree District Mission has arranged an Executive Drone Pilot Programme. The programme will support 20 beneficiaries from the Koraga Tribes from the Kasaragod District. 

The Koraga community, A tribal community found in the deepest forest areas in Kasaragod seeks growth and empowerment pursuits. Noticing their quest for knowledge and improvement to seek opportunities for growth and to make a living, ASAP Kerala funding reached out to the community to understand the ground realities in the challenges faced by them in getting skilled.

From the skilling programmes in our course bouquet, Kudumbasree & ASAP Kerala has decided to equip them with the latest and in demand skills of Executive drone training programme. The students from the Koraga community will undergo a 16 day programme where they will be familiarized with the scope and aspects of drone flying. 

Post completion of the programme, the students will be given placement opportunities by ASAP. 

The entire initiative is funded by the Jilla Panchayath Kasaragod with a total Estimate of 15 lakhs spent for the Special Project.

“GET SET Thrissur” – Formal inauguration by Jilla Panchayat President Shri. V. S. Prince and District Collector Shri.Arjun Pandian IAS: Get Set Thrissur is a pioneering project unfolded by the District Collector which aims at nurturing and developing sports talents among aspiring beneficiaries.These programs focus on providing comprehensive training, infrastructure and opportunities for young sports enthusiasts to excel in their respective disciplines.
ASAP has been selected as the implementation agency for developing 8 Centres of excellence for sports in Thrissur- The proposal was developed with the help of TBB team ASAP Kerala –  The same project is approved by District Collector of Palakkad Ms.Priyanka. G. IAS -to be formally onboarded in Palakkad District in April. 

“Project Thira” by ASAP Kerala was implemented with the assistance of Power Grid Corporation Of India Limited (Powergrid) – a corporate social responsibility initiative. The program has sponsored 20 students from the fishermen community in Trivandrum District of Kerala to participate in our transformative Dive Master course. This initiative is designed to provide these young talents with the necessary skills for a sustainable and rewarding vocation in open water diving, with a total project investment of nearly ₹20 lakhs. 

The programme was inaugurated by Smt. Anu Kumari IAS (District Collector of Trivandrum), in the presence of Smt. Reshma (HR Officer, Powergrid), Shri. Rajesh T A (Assistant Director of Fisheries Directorate), Shri. Panayadima John (Ward Councillor), and Commander Vinod Sankar (Head of Funding Dept, ASAP Kerala), whose support and encouragement underscored the importance of empowering communities through education and skill development. 

A tripartite agreement was signed between the Directorate of Fisheries, Powergrid Corporation & ASAP Kerala to implement the project.

ASAP Kerala signed an MoU with the Lions Club in the presence of the Higher Education & Social Justice Minister Dr. R. Bindu for the training of Basic Patient care Programme.

The agreement for the UYARE Skill Development Project was signed today in the presence of our CMD. Rotary District Governor Shri Sudhi Jabbar represented Rotary. This project aims to provide job-oriented skill training to 2,000 beneficiaries, with ASAP Kerala as the primary partner.
